Becoming A Sponsor
The tournament is put on each year by the Ojai Valley Tennis Club, Inc., which is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose charitable mission is the promotion of interest in tennis & physical fitness as well as the provision of recreational facilities & programs for our youth. The tournament truly inspires young student athletes to compete, to dream, & to be their best selves.
As a sponsor, you would be a valuable contributor towards the celebration of young athletes striving for excellence…it’s HEALTHY…it’s about youth tennis, & it’s keeping a wonderful tradition alive. Since 1896, The Ojai is the oldest amateur tennis tournament in the US still played at the same venue located in beautiful Libbey Park. After all these years, much has changed, & yet much remains the same. Thousands of spectators fill the valley for 5 days to watch the finest in amateur tennis, enjoy fresh orange juice in the mornings as well as tea & cookies in the afternoon, all provided by a tennis club that has no courts of its own & no paid employees. Goals & Objectives
Maintaining the spirit and traditions of The Ojai Tennis Tournament.
Scholarships are made available for those who express need.
Introducing tennis to youth at an early age and providing opportunities for their continuing enjoyment and development through various programs.
Raise funds to contribute to maintenance and improvement of public tennis courts in the valley that are used during the tournament and year-round.
