Notre Dame-bound senior Drew Dawson of Irvine-University High is trying to become the first 3-time Boys’ Doubles winner at The Ojai in more than 100 years when Charles Rogers of L.A. High won three straight in 1907, 1908, 1909.
Dawson is attempting to become the first player in Ojai history to do it with three different partners and will play with Arash Hafezi.
Also, former world No. 1 and US Open champion Tracy Austin’s son Brandon Holt is playing doubles for Palos Verdes High, and last year’s 14s champion at the Easter Bowl Connor Hance will play CIF singles.
